A special Ubu Night for the 2017 Christchurch Arts Festival…
Ubu and his friends, Hamlet, Ophelia and the Ghost, invite you to a pre-election party in The Gym! Bill, Jacinda and Paula may drop by. Leonard Cohen, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Beach Boys, Neil Young, The Who, Roxy Music, PJ Harvey and Roy Montgomery will provide musical commentary throughout the evening.
Ubu Nights are quite unlike anything else – anywhere! Combining theatre, music, film and hospitality, enter exhilarating, sensory environments where the unexpected is to be expected.
Proudly supported by the Christchurch Arts Centre and Christchurch Creative Communities Free Theatre together with its hospitality partner The Rolling Om collaborates with a diversity of artists to create spectacular experiences.
