Alternative Bathurst Commentary

Widely regarded as the pinnacle of motorsport in Australia, the Bathurst 1000 is colloquially known as The Great Race among motorsport fans. 1000kms of touring car savagery, over six – eight hours, around the greatest racetrack in the world…. arguably.
But honestly, who really cares that much? Let’s talk about what Bathurst is really about… This is a whole day of hanging out, spinning some yarns, and drinking some beers.. The best sports are never really about the sports. How many people do you know who went to the Rugby 7’s for the actual rugby? Yes, this means we’re encouraging you to wear costumes.
At CAPA bar we understand what this is, it’s an all day extravaganza. So we’ve got two of Chch’s hardest working comedians, Justin ‘Rusty’ White and Snap presented by RuseWebsites, giving you their alternative commentary all day. Special guests will be making an appearance throughout the day and good old fashion tom foolery will be encouraged.
We’ll be kicking off with a qualifying replay and all the preamble at 12 noon and running through till race end. Get yourselves dressed up and we’ll see you on race day!
