One Waka and The Caffeinated Collective mash it up in a display of live roots reggae and hip hop coming out of the heart of Otautahi.
Having teamed up for a scorcher last summer these two local crews meet once again!
For a night which migrates from the Caffs energy filled, pass the mic style hip hop packed with alternative beats and locally referenced lyrics. To the Waka’s renowned culturally infused style of grass roots reggae, tickets are just $10 online or $15 at the door!

Out of the expanse of the Canterbury Plains comes One Waka. A 7-piece Reggae Roots Cooperative bringing their take on rockers rhythms, up skanked tempos and harmonic vibes.
Inspired by the authentic roots sounds of the 60s & 70s and iconic kiwi reggae & dub greats like The Black Seeds & Katchafire, One Waka have set out to bring those vibes to the live audiences of Christchurch, New Zealand for the past six years.
The Caffeinated Collective are from the depths of the Pacific — Beats brought to life by Caramel Smooth Heaven and flows so smooth by Seb The Vegabond, YourBoyTuha, Jimmy K and Blaz.. for now
