The RESILIENCE tour: Silence The City w/ Stonehurst & A Doubtful Sound

With a headline slot at the Rock Du Mont Dore festival in New Caledonia and a handful of support act experience for some massive international heavyweights (Sevendust, Everclear…), and legendary local acts (I Am Giant, Devilskin…) under their belt, Silence The City are excited to be bringing their high-energy headline set to venues across the country, to celebrate the release of their debut full-length album, Resilience.

Resilience is a start to finish, balls to the wall rock album.

Front-man Justin Pitt talks about the song writing process for Resilience – ”We basically started with a bunch of riffs and random song ideas and a blank canvas. How we picked what to put on the canvas was pretty much anything that collectively gave us that little burst of energy and excitement. Working in that collective way meant we were all 100% committed to taking only the best, most kick-ass ideas to the next phase, the crafting of a complete song.”

This song writing approach has proven to be effective in creating a collection of tracks which scream to be played live and loud.

Fast paced tracks such as ‘Go It Alone’ and ‘Machines’ are complimented by grooving and driving tracks such as ‘Brave’ and ‘Ruins’. Bring to the fore the sing-along anthems such as ‘Satellites’ and ‘We Are The Voice’, and you can be sure Silence The City will deliver an exciting and diverse set.
