Sneaky Bones (USA) at the Sunday Sit Down

Sneaky Bones is the brainchild of Matthew Bean, a Seattle-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and all-around giant.

Blue Smoke welcomes you to ‘The Sunday Sit Down Get Down’ our very own folk club event.

Our doors open at 3pm and the show get underway at 4pm so make sure you come early to get settled in.

There is a suggested ‘Koha’ entry for this event we encourage you to support the musicians and pay what you can afford.

With the help of a talented rotating cast of collaborators, Bean has been slowly carving his folk vision into the textures of genre land. Warm acoustic instruments, heavy pedal steel, and lucid leads are the well-worn handle on Bean’s sharpest tool – his striking melodic, harmonic, and lyrical sensibilities.

He has toured North America extensively and spent the fall in Europe promoting his new record High as the Stars. As one venue in Norway put it, “once we heard his record (High as the Stars) we just had to book him to hear it live.”
