Patients Debut Album “Admissions” Release Gig

PATIENTS are an alternative indie rock band based in Christchurch New Zealand.

The band was formed in 2023 by friends Aeneas Jones (vocals and guitar) Jimmy Bee (bass) George Brown (guitar and backing vocals) and Charles Mannering (drums) The songs are selected from Aeneas’s repertoire of songs, which are a mix of indie, rock, funk, punk, with some new- wave/Goth influences.

Their first debut album entitled “ADMISSIONS”, is a collection of seven songs recorded at George Brown’s studio “URBAN DECIBEL” in Ferrymead Christchurch.

Booker Brooks’ music is eclectic yet familiar. Influenced by artists who stretch the boundaries of genre such as Bon Iver and Ben Howard, Brooks stirs the perfect blend of novelty and simplicity. Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, his debut album “One Way Ticket” was born out of the experience of travel and is a metaphor of the journey from birth to death.
