Taking their lead from classic analog synth acts of the late 1970s and early ’80s, as well as progressive and rock luminaries of both decades, General Kala have been described (by others) as “Ultravox meets Kate Bush”, and “the fusion of visceral, soaring, melodic dance composition with vintage synthesis and syncopated rhythm”.
GK EPs are now available on compact disk, cassette and digital download from generalkala.com. The EP collection includes the re-recorded debut HEXAD, alongside SLEEPWALKER, NIGHT FLIGHT, THE PRETERNATURAL EYE, RETROGRADE and the seven-track RE-ANIMATOR.
