Nick Dow performs a mélange of new original works from his forthcoming EP (recorded with Ben Edwards in Lyttelton), pieces from his previous album Layers, and his take on a classic or two.
Utilising vocals, piano, keyboard, and violin, and exploring the elegance in minimalism, Dow’s performance at the Great Hall will recontextualise these works, stripping them back to their essence so that the fundamental beauty within is exposed. In a world constantly shouting for our attention sometimes we need to take a moment to listen to the whispers.
