Austin Leonard Jones

Austin Leonard Jones is a Texan who makes DIY folk rock influenced by D. Boon, Kris Kristofferson, Grateful Dead and The Clean. Austin’s output as a recording artist has been very significant releasing 7 albums all by himself and touring America. Growing up in Texas, where he now lives in Austin, he was heavily inspired by the DIY punk scene and applied it’s ethos to his low-fi country, pop. He stays truly underground, running his label Del Rio Records & Tapes responsible for reissues of the enigmatic Bobby Brown or Jad Fair from Half Japanese.
