This is a free event suitable for all ages, but please keep your dogs at home.
– One Waka
One Waka are a seven-piece Reggae Roots Cooperative, bringing their rocking rhythms, upbeat tempos and harmonic vibes. One Waka’s mission is to sing their songs through the rich and colourful framework of Reggae music, always paying respect to those before them and enjoying the ride along the way! The band’s debut album Dub Sea Voyages was recently released.
– Scrooge
Scrooge are a live musical smorgasbord combining elements of funk, dub and rock. The band recommend bringing your dancing shoes when attending this fun, live show. It will be the band’s debut performance at Lazy Sundays.
– Hawaiian Maiden
Equal parts nostalgia and innovation, Hawaiian Maiden are a five-piece surf-rockabilly band, known for both their musical prowess and great fashion sense. This group of banter-driven mates are consistently bringing the party to the Hawaiian shirt-wearing sub-cultures of Christchurch. Hawaiian Maiden have self–released a brand new record, just in time for summer.
