Written and conceived in relative isolation over several grim Southern Hemisphere winters, SPOOK THE HORSES are defining their own sonic trademark with this album: an atmosphere of quiet desolation, raw and real, desperate and unsettling: the post-apocalyptic soundtrack to abandoned places, where people used to live, at one point in time, long ago.

Three piece psych rock/stoner doom from Christchurch formed in 2012. Mixing elements of classic stoner grooves like Black Sabbath, modern desert rock like Colour Haze and Kyuss as well as sludge/doom influences from bands like Ufomammut and Bongripper, EnFire has made a name for themselves in the local scene with heavy, groove layered riffs, powerful emotive melodies and back breaking live performances.

A self-described ‘Geriactricore’ band, Dick Tracy combines vamping blues driven riffs with an upbeat stoner vibe. They pride themselves on their energetic live shows which has brought them to opening for american stoner giants RED FANG and touring with NZs own HLAH on the back of the 2018 release of their self titled album.
