Originally a vinyl drum n bass DJ, Ōtautahi born & bred Bomb Dylan has traversed many musical paths. He grew up on a solid diet of 80’s post punk bands like Joy Division, New Order & The Cure.

He eventually discovered 90’s dance music courtesy of his friendly neighbour John Usher and spent hours listening to shows like Scientific, P3 and The Rhythm Zone on RDU which were instrumental in his musical journey.

Bomb Dylan has been deeply immersed in electronic music for 20+ years and has played shows all over NZ.

Some of his favourites have been Rhythm & Alps, Twisted Frequency festival, Shipwrecked festival and he has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Denis Cruz, Out Of Sorts, Sanoi, Josh Butler & Chaos in the CBD.

In 2020 he self-released a handful of his own tunes, released a track on the Trans-Tasman label Beat & Path and also a remix for the Bolivian label Subliminal Senses.

A recent break from gigs to focus on other areas of life has done him well. New music is in the works so keep an ear out.His current DJ format is usually multi-genre, with tough beats and hypnotic rhythms a mainstay.
