A versatile artist who first rose to fame as a founding member of the award-winning band Supergroove in the nineties\, Ché-Fu features on many songs that have since achieved ‘classic kiwi anthem’ status – the likes of “Can’t Get Enough” and “You Gotta Know”. \nChé-Fu went on to a successful solo career with albums that earned him many accolades\, and he helped pave the way for other local artists\, who witnessed the genre reaching new heights of mainstream popularity and commercial success. Audiences may remember “Fade Away”\, which won him Single of the Year at the 2002 New Zealand Music Awards\, and “Misty Frequencies”\, which took home the APRA Silver Scroll that same year.
