It was the decade of the Springbok Tour, the under-arm bowl, New Zealand becoming nuclear-free and Rachel Hunter telling us that you Can’t Beat a Trumpet.
It was also the decade when New Zealand was alive with music.
Join us as we pay homage to the Golden Age of Kiwi Music featuring songs by NZ greats including Split Enz, Dance Exponents, Dave Dobbyn, Sharon O’Neill and many more.
A star-studded cast of singers will be accompanied by the full rock symphonic splendor of the CSO.
Big hair, head bands and leg warmers are optional, but we do recommend you come ready to dance and sing all night.
