R.O.A.R. \nWe get asked all time how people can support Darkroom amongst the changing cityscape as residential development pops up around us\, and the answer is simple: come to a gig!!! \nIf you’ve been meaning to make it down for a while\, make it happen on Fri Nov 28th cos we’ve got some old friends and new faves lined up to take to the stage!! \nSTEAMPUNK FISH\nFronted by Jessie Rickard’s killer stage presence and powerhouse vocals\, this alternative rock quartet erupted onto the local gigging scene exactly one year ago\, playing their first ever show at Darkroom in late November 2024! They hit the ground running and have spent the last year gigging regularly across the city\, refining their set list and sound both onstage and in the studio. With a couple of wicked singles out to date\, we’re excited to hear what comes next!\nListen here: https://steampunkfish.bandcamp.com \nPAPERWAVES\nPaperwaves are indie rock outfit who tell stories you can dance to. We met them in the middle of this year through our open mic nights\, and they’ve quickly graduated from the open mic circuit into the gigging realm. Joe (vocals)\, Dan (guitar)\, Cal (bass)\, and Nate (drums) had all crossed musical paths at various times in their formative years before locking in as a band in early 2025. \nLITTLE FANG\nLittle Fang formed in 2017 and have been bringing their massive amps and ridiculously loud sound (don’t get us wrong\, we love it) to the stages of Darkroom and beyond ever since. The four-piece are committed to intensity and blending heavy alt rock with elements of classic rock\, doom\, post-rock and punk.
