So I want these shows to feel like it did when I was first coming up. Up close. Str8 rap shit.” \nFAFO is the Samoan word for Outside. To everyone else my name is David\, but at home – always Vita”. \nAn abbreviation of his Samoan name Tavita\, the new project from David Dallas is literally a return home. Written whilst based back in the South Auckland house he grew up in\, following the passing of his brother. \nIn between stripping wallpaper and clearing out everything that households accumulate over 30 years\, David found some time to escape through song and give us an idea of where his head is at. Fittingly the project sees him reconnecting with longtime friend and the producer he started his musical journey with – 41. \n
