Bensley Bio:

Toronto-born Bensley is fast cementing his status as one of Canada’s most exciting producers. Armed with impressive production knowledge and a proven track record in dance music, Bensley has carved out a signature sound that brims with influences spanning many different genres. With its impactful nature and bass-heavy undertones, Bensley’s music screams dancefloor appeal; all while retaining an intricate musicality that all electronic music fans will admire.

Bensley has solidified his success in recent years with an impressive catalogue of releases, boasting over 40 million streams on Spotify alone. Top dance labels Deadbeats, Monstercat, RAM Records, mau5trap, Nightmode and UKF are all home to Bensley’s music. Bensley’s most impactful releases include “Never Enough”, “Hit The Lights / Slow Motion”, “Roll The Dice”, “Leaving / Debonair” “That Feeling”, “All Night”, “Vex”, “Fandango”, “One Last Chance” and 2019 album “Muskoka”, alongside official remixes for Zeds Dead, Noisia & The Upbeats, Camo & Krooked, Eliminate, Delta Heavy, Flux Pavilion and more.

After signing his first record deal aged 19, Bensley exploded onto the scene with debut album “Next Generation”. The album’s success kick-started an illustrious career in dance music, making Bensley a sought-after live act and earning him the close attention of his peers. Bensley’s music has consistently accrued support from some of the dance world’s top tastemakers – including Zeds Dead, deadmau5, Jauz, Dillon Francis, Andy C, NGHTMRE & SLANDER, Zane Lowe, Netsky, Jauz, Noisia, Friction, Sub Focus and many more. In 2023, Bensley was nominated for a JUNO Award – Canada’s most prestigious music award – in the Underground Dance Single category for his track “Debonair”.

As a touring DJ, Bensley is a sought-after act and regularly performs in key markets across the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, as well as performing at world-renowned festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, Forbidden Kingdom, Project Z and Let It Roll. In summer 2024 he unveiled ‘Carry The Fire’, a 25-date co-headline tour taking fresh Drum & Bass music all across North America. Bensley’s high-energy sets have allowed him to become a commended act in the live circuit, as he continues to impress fans and cultivate a loyal fanbase worldwide.
