It won Best Debut Album at the 1984 Countdown Awards\, and has consistently appeared in the Top 10 on almost every ‘best ever’ Australian album lists. \nThe album\, along with the band’s regular New Zealand tours from 1984 onwards firmly cemented their Kiwi fanbase. They were last in New Zealand in March 2023\, wooing crowds as headliners of the Sounds Series festivals. \nBack to the Stoneage 2025 tour will see the band play the Stoneage Romeos album in full followed by a selection of hit songs and fan favourites like What’s My Scene\, Bittersweet\, Like Wow – Wipeout\, 1000 Miles Away\, and many more! \nSays frontman Dave Faulkner:“We can’t wait to get back to New Zealand. Stoneage Romeos’ was a pivotal album for us and many of its songs have remained live favourites ever since.
