We’ve been feeling like the Christchurch party & events scene has been a little lacking lately, so we thought we’d bring something fresh to the table.

Hot Plate is a new regular party featuring Christchurch’s top Hip Hop, Grime & Drum & Bass musicians with a focus on sick MCs, DJs & producers.

For the launch party we have: (all for an easy 10er on the door)

Camo MC – DnB MC with plenty of flavour for the ravers

DeVade – A rap metal trap core duo that are heavy enough to start a mosh pit but nice enough to take home to meet your parents

Eke & Ego – A charming duo with gully raps and stunning personalities to match.

The 03 Joint – Party starters with a laid back vibe, C-city’s answer to Homebrew

C-city GRIME cypher: A bunch of C-city’s finest Grime MCs fighting over the mic with badman Alkatraz – DJ on the decks

FaithK the Femcee: Repping the east all the way come check Christchurch’s fasting rising female MC in her debut performance, one to watch in 2020.

Resident: DnB DJ fella that tours with Camo MC, not bad at all, not cracked out, just looks like that.

Tommy Toomuch: Smooth asf Hip Hop DJ with good looks to back it up. The name says it all.

Delboy: He man have “boy” in his name, but trust us, he’s ALL man on those decks, another DnB DJ to add to the mix!
