Solo and serious. \nWith two critically acclaimed albums\, millions of streams\, and a string of high-profile tours and collaborations under his belt\, Jed Parsons has cemented his place as one of New Zealand’s standout indie singer-songwriters and live performers. \nHis latest album ‘Brunch’ drew praise from Rolling Stone and RNZ\, the latter declaring “nobody is writing catchier choruses in NZ right now.” Since its release\, Parsons has branched out creatively—venturing into comedy\, children’s music\, and more. \nBetween releases\, collaborations with artists like Troy Kingi have taken him to sold-out shows at iconic venues such as the Wellington Opera House and Auckland Town Hall. In 2024\, he performed at the Silver Scrolls—closing the night with Hall Of Fame inductee Don McGlashan’s ‘Tomorrow Night’—and appeared at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival\, where he was a finalist for ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Most Unhinged Show’.
