US songwriter Joan As Police Woman aka Joan Wasser is touring Aotearoa for the first time ever this coming October, with intimate headline events lined up for Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
The critically revered artist will play songs from her superbly titled new career-spanning collection Joanthology, a mammoth 43 track retrospective gathering together material from over a decades worth of albums, rarities and live recordings. Along with her own extensive back catalogue, the New Yorker has collaborated with such significant figures as John Cale, Lou Reed, David Sylvian, Antony & The Johnsons and Rufus Wainwright.
