Chanteuse ‘La Luna’ & her amazing Gadjos descend from afar to bring you an irreverent brew of French chanson, gypsy jazz and swing or Manouche! This traditional French music of the 30s is played with authentic feel and passion led by the multilingual talents of La Luna (Fr: the mad one) who sings vintage Piaf and gypsy classics with verve and nerve!
Poised for unimaginable feats of dexterity La Luna & the Gadjos recreate the steamy hot clubs of Paris with a twist of gypsy mayhem and the colours of New Orleans.

The Cavell Leitch New Zealand International Jazz & Blues Festival is the largest combined jazz and blues event in the country. Staged in Christchurch, the festival is an annual event, which celebrates its twenty fourth year in 2019.
