Crooked Lidz –
Crooked Lidz was founded in 2016 by Liam Murray, (a.k.a ‘Azure’). The group is made up of 4 artists, all of which release music under the Crooked Lidz label, and independently. The team comes together as a live collaborative House and Techno project, where they perform unique improvised sets, made up of a unique blend of synths, drum machines, samplers and live vocals, that feed directly from the audience’s energy.
With each performance taking on a life of it’s own, they are an act not to be missed. Crooked Lidz has become a strong part of the fabric that makes up Christchurch’s rich electronic music scene. They have gone beyond the traditional approaches of performance, collaboration and marketing to form a tight community that prioritises quality and freedom of expression.
Looking to the future, the Crooked Lidz team wants to bring it’s energy to as many different corners of the world as possible, spreading their unique vision and providing a coming together of music lovers, all under one roof raving.
Founded in 2014; Scheme is the musical alias of Cam Malcolm.
A staple figure in the Christchurch scene post quake, his productions and selections reflect a long standing relationship with dance music.
After spending the past year in London tailoring his musical vocabulary and building his record collection, Cam is looking forward to sharing his refreshed and diverse sound. His 2 guest slots on Rinse Fm, and residency on Music Box radio are clear evidence of a shift in style and taste.
Having supported the likes of; Dusky, Paleman, NYTA, T Williams, My Nu Leng, D Double E, Sir Spyro & many more, he is more than qualified to control the dance floor while in the booth.
