Piha Rescue are returning to Christchurch for a one-off reunion show!
This is the first time playing with the original line-up of Alice, Ben and Ché since who knows when. Joining us will be Cameron Hoy, returning to guitar after a long time lost in the dance music wilderness.
After spending a few years playing 60s surf hits in the early 2010s, Piha Rescue split ways and ended up in such far-flung places as Melbourne and Wellington pursuing other non-surf-music-related endeavours.
We will be playing that Misirlou song from Pulp Fiction/Black Eyed Peas + many, many more surf classics.
Joining us will be local lifesaving garage surf powerhouse The Wendys! You know, the ones with the red and yellow hats.
