DESCRIPTION:Sanctuary Events present \nRADIO ON + OTHER VOICES\nProto-punk + Punk + Post-punk showcase \nChristchurch bands RADIO ON & OTHER VOICES join forces to perform an evening of classic Proto-punk\, Punk and Post-punk songs.\nBoth bands will be covering songs that influenced the Punk Evolution from the late 60s Proto-punk through to mid 80s Post-punk. \nFeaturing artists such as;\nSex Pistols\, The Clash\, Ramones\, Bowie\, Buzzcocks\, The Damned\, Stiff Little Fingers\, T-Rex\, X-Ray Spex\, Magazine\, Joy Division\, The Stooges\, The Velvet Underground\, Dead Kennedys\, The Cure\, PiL\, Siouxsie & The Banshees plus more! \nRADIO ON have been broadcasting Proto Punk and Punk classics to Otautahi audiences throughout 2024. The 5-piece band features the local legends Gene-Pool Belmondo on vocals and guitar and Mark Android on lead guitar and vocals. They pride themselves on delivering the music they grew up on with the reverence it deserves. \nOTHER VOICES are a Christchurch based 4-piece Post-punk and indie covers band.\nFeaturing Penny Cain on Vocals/guitar/keyboards\, Linda Baran on Bass\, Nick Ford on Guitar/keyboards and Wade Byers on Drums/samples.\nPerforming solidly over the last 6 years OTHER VOICES have built up a loyal following and regularly sell out shows. \nCome along and enjoy an evening of Proto-punk\, Punk and Post-punk classics performed live! \nThis show is likely to sell out\, so we recommend getting tickets early to avoid missing out!\nR.O.A.R\nR18 \n
