Rainbow Rave – Biketober Grand Opening Event

Ride to your rhythm, dance to your beat! Kick off Biketober with this light-hearted cruise around the night-time city, along the Avon River Promenade and Rauora Park.
Uplifting beats, easy-going vibe, bright lights, big smiles – could this be the most fun you’ve had on your bike?
A Bike-DJ will pump music along the route. Or bring your own sound – a bike-mounted boom-box, maybe?
Decorating your bike (and yourself) uniquely is encouraged. There’s even Pimp-My-Ride sessions to help you get ready! Plus, there are bike-hire options if you need them; see the website.
After the ride, the party continues from 9.30pm, with RDU98.5FM DJs Greig B and Mat Hoods spinning tunes at Smash Palace (R18), or boogieing at the Dance-O-Mat (all ages).
This is a fundraising event for the NZ Aids Foundation and QTopia. A $10 Koha is suggested, please pay cash on the night.
