DESCRIPTION:Join us on the night of Former Ōtautahi local and University of Canterbury student Tusekah’s graduation as she takes the stage with her talented friends and fellow musicians who have helped shaped her musical journey while based in based in Ōtautahi. This intimate\, soulful event will showcase a mix of original tunes\, smooth melodies\, and powerful performances. With influences stemming from classic R&B to contemporary Neo-Soul\, the night promises an electrifying blend of rich vocals\, heartfelt lyrics\, and grooves that will have you vibing all night long. Whether you’re there to cheer on the graduate or simply enjoy the music\, this is one celebration you won’t want to miss. Come through and celebrate music\, milestones\, and the power of friendship. \nTusekah is a singer/songwriter who releases music with the sounds of RnB/NeoSoul. She released her first single ‘Childhood Friends’ in 2021\, and had since released three more singles ‘I ain’t waiting around’\, ‘I’ve Changed’ and ‘Baby’s Breath’. Recent career highlights include opening for Olivia Dean’s Australia/New Zealand tour in February 2025. Tusekah has also opened for multi-grammy award winning PJ Morton and for local musicians such as Jess B and Deva Mahal.
