WHEN PLANETS COLLIDE
Prepare ye eardrums for a night of planet-smashing, genre-mashing badassery.
Four respective acts combine in one night of punk, industrial rock and darkwave. Sonic waves will radiate out from Darkroom and into the voided quadrant of Otautahi central; and plasmatic photons of raucous musicality will illuminate Stardate 17.03.23.
The pod bay doors will open at 9pm, so solar-sail down to this radioactive noise-fest and witness the astronomical events to follow.
NEFARIOUS DEEDS: A cracked lens viewing the less-salubrious facets of the human condition, the Christchurch husband and wife duo expresses their frustrations about the cold disconnection creeping into our everyday lives to the relentless rhythm and sinuous textures of industrial rock, with the primary mission of wringing what joy can be wrought from… all this.

WALLOWITCH – A synth banshee hailing from Te Whanganui-A-Tara, musically embedded within the vortex of darkwave, EBM and 80s-homage synthwave. She blazed across the stage at Gathering Shadows 2022, and has recently supported international acts China Crisis and Lucy Dreams. From 2020 Wallowitch released singles L.A Palma, Outrospect, Magic Metaphysical Candy Dreams, and most recently Guillotine, Death Machine (featuring Wally Boneshudder of Carradine Choke) and the latest dungeon synth outing The Video Dead. Her debut album PURPLE DEATH is being spawned into existence for early 2023.
