we are doing a series of small gigs throughout the year to support and show local music in Christchurch.
THE BAND
In 2017, good friends Josh Holmes (Junus Orca, Othersun) Amiria Grenell (Tui award winner)? and Bryony Matthews joined together to create Your Indigo.? Each with their own musical careers, Holmes an electronic producer, Grenell and Matthews ? both folk singer-songwriters, they were all looking to create something different.
THE STYLE
Combining their crafts, Your Indigo brings the sound of Holmes’ impeccable ear for ambient? electronica and intricate rhythms mixed with Grenell and Matthews’ natural talent for ? lyrical and melodic songwriting. “While Joshua certainly threads the weave with some delicate, warm and glowing textures, the combined voices of Grenell and Matthews give Your Indigo such a rich tapestry”.
