We know this will go a long way to help end discrimination for those who experience any form of mental illness or distress. The more we share our stories\, the more we can normalise what doesn’t always feel normal. \nWe’ll be interviewing local guests in each town\, sharing how kindness is truly the answer AND giving away swag bags to all those who register for the event. \nIf you know what it means to laugh or you’ll cry\, are passionate about creating safer mental health spaces and keen to learn more about your fellow humans – then this is the show for you! \n

Here to spice up the scene\, Food Court is guaranteed to bring you curated club nights full of diverse cuisine and fresh local produce – filled to the brim with a whole lot of zest\, punch and bite xo \nQUEER HORIZONS \nQueer Horizons began as a one-off gig\, with a group of friends throwing a closing party for the art exhibition Backdirt\, featuring queer artists Priscilla Rose Howe and Daniel John Corbett Sanders. The event quickly sold out\, expressing the shared desire from Ōtautahi’s LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities for a space that celebrates and centers their joy. Now with three legendary gigs under their wig\, Queer Horizons has established itself as a euphoric haven for the city’s queer and BIPOC whānau\, and as a high-energy and restorative space for us all. The purpose of the collective is to provide a platform for QTBIPOC creatives to express themselves freely–through music\, art and dance–and a desire to elevate the runway for our Te Waipounamu ballroom girls.
