SUMMARY:Ralph Mctell
DESCRIPTION:English musical legend Ralph McTell will be armed with his guitar and the much-loved songs from his illustrious career that spans over six decades. \nThe unassuming singer-songwriter is a prolific touring and recording artist with a knack for illuminating the present and the road ahead with a strong connection to a shared\, storied\, past. \nMcTell is an artist who has always defined his own artistic term\, his music emanating grace\, experience and learning\, natural poise and deep substance with harmonic and melodic riches contained in voice\, songs and six stringed guitar glory. \nAudiences all over the world still flock to hear and sing along to the timeless classic that catapulted him to global fame. Fondly abbreviated to “Streets”\, the melodic beauty and cold hard truth of the song keeps it forever relevant. \nMcTell also tells his incredible life stories to enraptured audiences with song and banter. From hitch hiking with Rod\, then known as Mod Stewart\, playing Isle of Wight Festival alongside Jimi Hendrix and Sly Stone\, a crap game with Tom Waits in LA\, an Ivor Novello and numerous folk awards. Prepare to be enthralled. \n

SUMMARY:Suzanne Lynch\, Elizabeth Braggins and Graham Wardrop
DESCRIPTION:This was a sell out concert last year\, please book your ticket now so as not to be disappointed. \nThe newly formed trio of three fabulous musicians in their own right combining their immaculate skills make a powerful force of dynamism and listening pleasure for the audience. With 3-part harmonies a priority backed by top-class piano and guitar by Braggins and Wardrop\, this is a must see. \nThe song choice ranges from some nostalgic toe tappers from Suzanne’s songbook\, some jazzy numbers from Elizabeth’s and some originals and covers from Graham’s. \nSuzanne’s voice has led her all over the world backing world famous musicians such as Cat Stevens and Mary Hopkins. \nElizabeth’s piano playing and her caramello voice are a firm favourite for Christchurch listeners and Graham’s guitar playing and his sensitive vocals are also in high demand around the country. \nPlease note that this is a Thursday night concert\, this was a sell out last year so we know you will be keen to hear this trio again. \nDoors open 7pm.
