DESCRIPTION:Leather Jacket Records presents Living Clipboards & Minisnap! \nLiving Clipboards is a Dunedin/Wellington trio made up of Mark Williams (MarineVille\, Cookie Brooklyn and the Crumbs) with Denise Roughan (3Ds\, Ghost Club) and Jim Abbott (Ghost Club). Their debut album All Over Tawa features nine songs that veer between “low-slung menace\, petulant snarl and languid pop”. All Over Tawa was recorded on equipment rented from the Wellington public library\, then mixed and mastered by Tex Houston. Originally released on Record Store Day 2024\, the first pressing was quick to sell out\, and the band is celebrating the re-release of All Over Tawa on limited edition splatter vinyl via Ōtautahi label Leather Jacket Records. \nLed by the songs of Kaye Woodward\, Christchurch’s Minisnap features three members of The Bats and collaborator Marcus Winstanley. The recent vinyl reissue of their album Bounce Around was described by Flying Out as “one chiming\, bouncy NZ rocker after another… each song is bound to replace the previous as your new feel-good anthem until you put the record back on repeat again and again!” \n
