SUMMARY:David Dallas | Fafo - Vita Tour Ft. Pnc
DESCRIPTION:DAVID DALLAS ANNOUNCES FAFO: VITA TOUR\nAOTEAROA / NEW ZEALAND – DECEMBER 2024 \nOn the heels of the vinyl release of his VITA EP\, David Dallas announces a special run of shows in December. \n“Everything about this project was DIY & raw. Figured if I ever did any shows for it\, they should be the same way.” \nAfter a huge response to his Tiger Venue Veterans show earlier this year\, reaching capacity minutes after doors opened\, Dallas continues the momentum of supporting indie\, grassroots venues. \n“Vita was written back in the Papatoetoe home I grew up in. So I want these shows to feel like it did when I was first coming up. Up close. Str8 rap shit.” \nFAFO is the Samoan word for Outside. Just in time for summer\, FAFO gives fans the opportunity to come outside and catch David Dallas in a rare run of intimate shows. \nCatch the FAFO – Vita Tour\, with special guest PNC in a city near you.\n7 December – Christchurch at Loons\n13 December – Wellington at Meow\n14 December – Auckland at Double Whammy \nVITA EP\n“My family calls me Vita. To everyone else my name is David\, but at home – always Vita”. \nAn abbreviation of his Samoan name Tavita\, the new project from David Dallas is literally a return home. Written whilst based back in the South Auckland house he grew up in\, following the passing of his brother. \nIn between stripping wallpaper and clearing out everything that households accumulate over 30 years\, David found some time to escape through song and give us an idea of where his head is at. Fittingly the project sees him reconnecting with longtime friend and the producer he started his musical journey with – 41. \n

SUMMARY:Blanke Presents ÆON:MODE
DESCRIPTION:Hide is excited to bring you–Blanke Presents ÆON:MODE \n  \nHide Club | 172 St Asaph Street \nSaturday 7th December | 10:00pm – 3:00am \n  \nSupport TBC \n  \nTickets are on sale now! Scoop up an early bird before they’re gone! \n  \nÆON:MODE \n  \nÆON:MODE is the brainchild of Australian Born\, Denver based Producer JP Orchison\, best known under his primary moniker\, Blanke. \n  \nThe Blanke project has found global success focused on Dubstep\, Mid-Tempo and Melodic Bass\, with Sold out Headline shows across North America\, Europe & Australia\, Festival appearances at the likes of Lollapalooza\, EDC Las Vegas & Hard Summer\, over 75 million Streams on Spotify alone & collaborations with superstars like Zeds Dead\, Seven Lions\, REZZ & Illenium. \n  \nÆON:MODE has allowed the producer to thrive in a lane of Drum & Bass that calls to early age influence from acts like Pendulum and Sub Focus. After D&B focused Blanke Singles ‘Alchemy’ & ‘Mystery’ hit #1 and #2 most played at triple j radio in Australia in 2021- the ÆON:MODE project was born to support a string of Drum & Bass focused performances in his native Australia under the ‘Blanke Present’s ÆON:MODE’ stage name. \n  \n In 2023\, following the global success of The ÆON:MODE Remix of Ray Volpe’s bass anthem ‘Laserbeam’\, the ÆON:MODE project was given a life of its own. The Remix has clocked over 6 million streams on Spotify alone\, and landed in the top 10 most played Drum & Bass tracks of 2023 on 1001 tracklists. It has seen live support from the likes of Sub Focus (who put it in his Radio 1 Essential Mix)\, Chase & Status\, Andy C\, Wilkinson\, Dimension\, Bou\, Metrik\, Culture Shock\, Koven and many more. \n‘Awake’\, a collaboration with Metrik (who is a long time influence on Orchison)\, followed soon after\, landing on renowned label Hospital Records as a single to Metrik’s forthcoming album. \n  \nThe ÆON:MODE live experience has seen the DJ/Producer hit Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver\, Melkweg in Amsterdam\, ‘Its the Ship’ Festival in Singapore\, Rampage Open Air in Belgium & Listen Out Festival in Australia\, alongside a host of other festivals in North America. It also garnered direct support slots for the likes of Andy C\, Zed’s Dead & Chase & Status on their headline shows throughout 2023. \n  \nAt The start of 2024\, Orchison embarked on his ‘Earth To The Stars’ Headline Tour across North America\, playing 2 sets in one night as both Blanke & ÆON:MODE\, at iconic American Venues like The Midway in San Francisco\, Ogden Theater in Denver & Webster Hall in New York City. \n  \nUS/European Summer this year was a standout moment for The ÆON:MODE project. Performances at Tomorrowland Belgium\, Nature One Germany (as part of the famed Rampage brand Stage takeover) EDC Las Vegas\, Beyond Wonderland PNW\, Bonnaroo Festival (as part of the Chase & Status Curated stage takeover) Forbidden Kingdom Orlando were highlights\, as well as hosting his own ÆON:MODE present’s stage at the Deadbeats Jamboree in Dallas Texas. In September\, he hit the road again\, this time as part of Pendulum’s US Tour\, hand picked as direct support by the band he idolized as a young producer starting out. \n  \n2 standout releases for 2024 arrived towards the end of summer\, the long awaited collaboration with D&B legend Friction called ‘State Of Mind’ landed in July via Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats imprint\, followed by his debut release ‘Lonely’ on Wilkinson’s Sleepless Music. Forthcoming releases via UKF and a collaboration with Koven will round out the year. \n  \nThe as yet unreleased ÆON:MODE remix of Odd Mob & Omnom’s hit ‘Losing Control’ was played by House superstars Dom Dolla & John Summit as the closing record in their huge Back to Back set on the Outdoor Stage of Coachella weekend one this year\, further showing that Drum & Bass is truly having a moment & expanding its reach all across the United States. \n
