With compelling tune-making at their heart\, the duo offer considered\, stimulating and thoroughly fresh arrangements sprinkled with the characteristic My Pennyworth magic\, ensuring a new take to some familiar favourites and a timelessness to new favourites. \n‘My Pennyworth’ are passionate about their music and songwriting. They have released five albums and recently a sixth. They are excited to bring some of these new songs to you along with a few of their favourites from earlier years and a few favourites covers. The duo offer considered\, stimulating and thoroughly fresh arrangements sprinkled with the characteristic My Pennyworth magic ensuring a new take to some familiar favourites. Their shows leave you feeling uplifted and looking forward to the next one. \nA DOWN-TO-EARTH ACT CAPABLE OF WARMING ANY CROWD WITH UNASSUMING MAGIC\nA great night that drew in a full house…… the audience loved their music. They played a mixture of covers and their own music. The audience were totally blown away by their own stuff\, the lyrics and harmony and skills displayed between these two musicians was second to none. There is an audience awaiting their return- the performance that they provided was unforgettable. They played and sang of stories of a folk and mythical nature that is close to the hearts of many people here in Ireland. The evocative lyrics and Celtic style warmed everyone in attendance\, they utilised many instruments in a professional manner and sold many CDs following the gig.\nFollowing this night in the Barn Studio they played in the local hotel where people danced the night away.\nRaymond Watson\nVisual Artist\nIreland \nR18.
