DESCRIPTION:Shannon Fowler has announced his second full-length album as Tom Lark\, Moonlight Hotel\, along with dates for his first live shows in Aotearoa since May 2024. \nMoonlight Hotel sees the artist explore the parallels between his family’s historical displacement following the 1929 earthquake that destroyed Murchison – a pioneer town in the upper West Coast of the South Island – and his own following the 2011 earthquakes that levelled much of Ōtautahi. \nThe second single from the LP\, ‘Rock & Roll Baby’ is due out on 14 February and also captures a poignant acceptance of the unpredictability of a musical life. The track follows ‘Dumb Luck’\, which was released in April 2024 as a sweetener for a UK tour. \n‘Dumb Luck’ was the first taste of new material from Tom Lark since 2023’s Brave Star\, the Ōtautahi-born\, Tāmaki Makaurau-based artist’s debut album. \nEarning him a finalist nod for the 2024 Taite Music Prize and Te Kaipuoro Taketake Toa | Best Folk Artist at the 2024 Aotearoa Music Awards\, Brave Star was a return for Fowler – who had previously released two eponymous EPs before taking time out to work on his pop craft as Shannon Matthew Vanya. \nBrave Star also won Tom Lark an APRA Silver Scroll Award Top 20 nomination in 2023\, care of its second single ‘Live Wires’. \n

DESCRIPTION:LORD KAOS- Kaos Over New Zealand 2025\nAustralian Black Metal legends LORD KAOS are bringing the Kaos to Aotearoa for the first time in April 2025\, featuring founding member Astennu (The Kovenant/Ex-Dimmu Borgir). \nLORD KAOS Originally formed in 1994 in Sydney Australia\, being one of the most prominent Black Metal acts in the country and playing influence to many bands that would follow in the footsteps of their style. Releasing the initial Demo ‘Path To My Funeral Light’ in 1995 shortly followed by their seminal full length ‘Thorns Of Impurity’ in 1996. During the same year founding member Astennu would relocate to Norway to join Symphonic Black Metal powerhouse Dimmu Borgir and later Norwegian Grammy Award winning band The Kovenant. \nThroughout the years LORD KAOS has seen a few iterations of the band emerge with mainstay initiator Astennu eventually reviving the band in 2023\, now completed with the new lineup of JS Decline on Vocals and Habatu on Bass. Having recently played shows across Australia and introducing new tracks CULTUS & SEPTAVIUS into their set alongside classics from their debut full length. \nLORD KAOS cannot wait to bring their crushing onslaught of Black Metal to the shores of Aotearoa in April 2025\, hitting Auckland\, Wellington & Christchurch on a 3 day trek of pure cacophony\, dubbed “KAOS OVER NEW ZEALAND 2025”. \nSupports TBA Soon! \n
