DESCRIPTION:Darkroom and MAINZ present Scattered Sound Sessions – showcasing our fave poets\, wordsmiths\, and folk\, indie & acoustic musicians performing in nooks and crannies and cosy corners. Volume 1 features performances from Post Office\, Pixie Platoon\, Quiet Minds\, Luna Wysteria\, and Melanie McKerchar. \nThurs May 15th\n7pm doors\, music from 7:30pm \n$15 tickets from UTR \nJoin our host Deej Cooper as he guides the audience through the space to enjoy performances onstage as well as in some not-so-ordinary spots in Darkroom Live Music Venue and our neighbouring gallery space\, Art Hole.\nWith cosy rugs\, couches\, cushions\, blankies\, house plants\, and hottie bottles to keep you snug at this sit down party\, we encourage you to dress your comfiest whether that’s busting out your fave trackpants and ugg boots\, or rocking up in your PJs.\nThere’ll be Autumn warmer drink specials including the return of Darkroom’s signature Hot Goon Mulled Wine as we welcome in the colder days and longer nights.\nLighting and sound design with thanks to MAINZ. \nR18. For NZ Music Month\, Euphonic and Boom Candy proudly present: National Treasures. \nTo celebrate the artistry that our lovely set of islands have to offer we have brought together a triple headliner with some of biggest names in NZ bass music. \nFirstly: Burnzy\, making serious waves in the drum and bass scene\,\nboth in New Zealand and beyond. Known for his dark\, gritty\, and high-energy production. With releases on respected labels and support from DJs worldwide\, his tracks have become\nmainstays in underground and festival sets alike. With fresh releases lined up and unstoppable momentum\, 2025 is set to be his biggest year yet. \nFollowing on we have TREI\, a drum and bass heavyweight who owns the dancefloor when on stage. While you may recognise him for creating bangers we all know and love\, he is also a veteran when it comes to dark and precise rollers. \nAnd our final headliner: Mt Eden\, a kiwi icon whose music has inspired many with his signature sound incorporating dynamic build ups\, intricate drum solos\, and mind blowing drops. \nThese acts will be strutting their stuff on one of NZ’s most powerful custom rigs\, the Boom Candy soundsystem. \nYou can find this all happening at the Sydenham Underpass.
