DESCRIPTION:Sanctuary Events present \nRADIO ON + OTHER VOICES\nProto-punk + Punk + Post-punk showcase \nChristchurch bands RADIO ON & OTHER VOICES join forces to perform an evening of classic Proto-punk\, Punk and Post-punk songs.\nBoth bands will be covering songs that influenced the Punk Evolution from the late 60s Proto-punk through to mid 80s Post-punk. \nFeaturing artists such as;\nSex Pistols\, The Clash\, Ramones\, Bowie\, Buzzcocks\, The Damned\, Stiff Little Fingers\, T-Rex\, X-Ray Spex\, Magazine\, Joy Division\, The Stooges\, The Velvet Underground\, Dead Kennedys\, The Cure\, PiL\, Siouxsie & The Banshees plus more! \nRADIO ON have been broadcasting Proto Punk and Punk classics to Otautahi audiences throughout 2024. The 5-piece band features the local legends Gene-Pool Belmondo on vocals and guitar and Mark Android on lead guitar and vocals.
