DESCRIPTION:Darkroom and MAINZ present Scattered Sound Sessions – showcasing our fave poets\, wordsmiths\, and folk\, indie & acoustic musicians performing in nooks and crannies and cosy corners. Volume 2\, the Spring edition\, is coming up on Sept 4th.  \nThis session’s line up includes performances from Deej Cooper\, ElectricStarfi\, Hunter Craig\, Daydream Dykes and more! \nThurs Sept 4th\n7pm doors\, music from 7:30pm \nVolume 1 sold out quickly\, so get your ticket asap for this time round! Tickets $20 from UTR. \nJoin our host Deej Cooper as he guides the audience through the space to enjoy performances onstage as well as in some not-so-ordinary spots in Darkroom Live Music Venue and our neighbouring gallery space\, Art Hole. \nThe spaces will be full of cosy rugs\, couches\, cushions\, and arts & crafts to keep things comfy as this sit down party. \nAs the first daffodils start popping up in the Darkroom garden\, meaning Spring is just round the corner – we’ll have some Springtime drink specials like locally-made Curiosity Rhubarb gig\, ice cold rosé\, and kombucha. \nLighting and sound design with thanks to MAINZ. \nR18. From jazz to contemporary\, Ara has played a foundational role in shaping the city’s musical identity as well as graduates exploring opportunities around the world. \nThis ecosystem thrives when students\, professionals\, and audiences come together.
