SUMMARY:Devilskin - Be Like The River 10th Anniversary Tour
DESCRIPTION:\nDevilskin announce Be Like the River 10th anniversary tour\, playing six shows across Aotearoa July through August. \n\n\n\nThis July and August\, Aotearoa’s hard rock juggernauts Devilskin will hit the road for six massive shows across the country\, performing the entirety of their chart-topping 2016 album Be Like The River in celebration of its 10-year anniversary. \n  \nReleased in 2016\, Be Like The River debuted at #1 on the Official New Zealand Albums Chart\, earned Gold certification\, and secured the band the Aotearoa Music Award for Best Rock Artist in 2017. The album cemented Devilskin as one of the country’s most dominant live acts – a reputation they’ve only strengthened over the decade since\, notably taking home the People’s Choice Award at the Aotearoa Music Awards just last year. \n  \nFrom their breakout Double Platinum debut We Rise through to their latest #1 album RE-EVOLUTION\, the Hamilton quartet have become a defining force in New Zealand rock. Fronted by the voice of Jennie Skulander\, alongside bassist Paul Martin\, drummer Nic Martin\, and guitarist Nail\, Devilskin have spent the past 15 years relentlessly touring and carving out an international reputation. They’ve shared stages with artists including Mötley Crüe\, Disturbed\, Halestorm\, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators\, Airbourne and Coheed and Cambria. \n  \nOpening the tour are rising riff-rock force The Boondocks. Hailing from the rugged Āwhitu Peninsula south of Auckland\, the two-piece powerhouse; bassist/vocalist Scott Parker and drummer Branden Pritchard have already supported the likes of Shihad\, Tadpole and Villainy\, completed three nationwide tours of their own and become The Rock kiwi favourites. \n  \nThe pair are now set to join Devilskin on the road for a second time\, mounting up to be a full-thottle live spectacle. Be Like The River 10th Anniversary New Zealand Tour coming this July and August. \n\n\n

SUMMARY:Kipper Reid Bluebird EP Tour
DESCRIPTION:Tāmaki Makaurau Indie Rock outfit\, Kipper Reid\, take to the road for their debut tour. \nThe two-date tour arrives after the release of their debut EP Bluebird\, including recent singles Cosmic Collision Course\, Bluebird and the upcoming\, cathartic Second Thoughts on Leaving. Written during varying periods\, the body of work dives deep into reflectiveness\, nostalgia and love. \nBringing explosive crescendos and soulful melodies\, Kipper Reid’s live performances take the polished\, clean songs of their recordings and blur the line between sing-along indie rock and gritty\, instrumentally dense post-rock. Tied to their home of Tāmaki Makaurau for the past year\, this tour marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band with new music underway already and plans for further tours. \nSupport from Abel Carson. \nDoors 8pm. \n
