a Thursday Noise Situation
April 25 @ 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm NZST
a Thursday Noise Situation is a monthly Thursday evening of experimental and noise music at the darkroom. Ranging from traditional rock-band line-ups to a person with a drill. Come down and enjoy the more out there side of music.
Join us from 8pm, 25apr, at darkroom for the return of some a Thursday Noise Situation favourites; Square Market and Alabaster Crashes Down and the debut of Angelic Numberwang
Square Market:
Soundscapes based on a beach at the end of the universe, Fables written in MIDI as told by Synth, followed by a more intimate showcase of sounds and textures reminiscent of nostalgic ring modulated and FM-like leads. An ambient dream in an electronic sleep.
Alabaster Crashes Down:
voices, conversations, tutorials, eavesdropping and advice
Angelic Numberwang:
Imagine this….

What you are actually seeing is carefully constructed message from your guardian angels telling you to go outside, tear up your backyard, and start growing your own fruit and vegetables. It is well known supermarket fruit and veg is full of pesticides and other carcinogens, and by growing at home you can save money and improve your health. Now that’s Numberwang!!
