Rails & Ales 3.0 – All Aboard for Christchurch’s Ultimate Tram Journey!

We’re back for 2025 and ready to roll! After two smash-hit events last year, Rails & Ales is returning with more craft beers, cocktails, wine, and good times from the city’s top venues – all while cruising the tracks on Christchurch’s iconic trams.

When: Saturday, April 12th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Where: Christchurch’s finest bars & trams – your ticket to a one-of-a-kind experience!

Tickets Include:

Beer Ticket: Enjoy 6 drinks in total—that’s a half pint at each of the 6 participating venues.

Cocktail Ticket: Enjoy 3 cocktails, redeemable at The Austin Club, Cascade, and Craft Embassy.

Wine Ticket: Enjoy 3 glasses of wine (150ml each), redeemable at DUX, The Victoria, and Smash

NEW for 2025:

We’re making things easy-peasy with a Token System for drink redemptions. Grab your wristband, ticket, and tokens from your starting venue, and you’re good to go!

How It Works:

Start from any venue – You choose when you buy your ticket!

Swap tokens for drinks:

Beer Tokens: Redeemable at all venues for a half pint.

Wine Tokens: Only redeemable at DUX, Smash Palace & The Victoria for a 150ml pour.

Cocktail Tokens: Only redeemable at Cascade, Craft Embassy & Austin Club.

Jump on the trams for top-notch entertainment and good vibes.

Pro Tip:

Spend some extra time on the tram, skip a venue, and catch it on the next loop. Who knows, you might even start a tram sing-along! And if the tram is full, don’t stress – the next one won’t be far away!
