KWASI – Dr Bloopenstein – SQUARE MARKET

Come along to the darkroom from 8pm on Friday 6th of June for the return of KWASI with Dr Bloopenstein and Square Market

KWASI is a collaboration between Christchurch Singer/Songwriter RMF Thomas (Mad Frank) and Noise Artist James Robinson (notv).
Their powers combined, the results are fun, cosmic, and unpredictable.

From a lab in the grid city of Ōtautahi, Dr. Bloopenstein mixes chemicals over the Bunsen burner. Fusing Hard Trance, Acid-Tech, Psychedelia, and House into an elixir of pure ecstasy.
Set to make a name for themselves by pooling resources and equipment, the duo quickly started developing a taste for concocting the Bloopenstein experience by early 2023.
The duo stands at the cusp of each performance having absolutely no idea what will come out, each session is pure improvisation, meddling with the idea that music can be a flowing state of consciousness with each idea or concept inspiring the next.
