Ōtepoti’s “IVY” are a special breed of musician, perhaps a once in a generation of local talent, in our humble opinion. Come September, they embark on a tour of Aotearoa’s South Island to promote their latest release, “The Trees”. Haunting vocals, masterfully crafted melodies, and pure mesemerizing energy is what this show will comprise of. It is impossible to walk away from an IVY show feeling unchanged in some way, positively affected to view music as a means to transport, heal, and contemplate.
