Synonyms with deep vibes and nose shaking bass, the perfect environment for local and international artists to showcase their sound to the ?tautahi Massive, Subtle Sound System and it’s 12+ years in the game is now starting to bear fruit in the form of a record label aptly named Subtle Recordings.
Subtle Recordings, vinyl only, no-repress, debut release is sending some heavy weight straight out of Christchurch to the world with local legend Headland and his outstanding tracks Quiver and Deathbed. Maintaining Christchurch’s place on the map and another pillar of foundation to the future sound of Bass Music.
To usher in Subtle Sound System’s new chapter they are holding a label launch party for the 001 release. Nestled in at the Dark Room, this showcase of Bass Music, will be an intimate affair with a gathering of Christchurch Bass aficionados and crew. Limited capacity so lock in your tickets to witness history in the making.
