Vallkyrie NZ Tour Christchurch + Elly

Vallkyrie embark on a nationwide tour this November and yes, they are coming to Christchurch! They are also playing with guest artist Elly.
Vallkyrie is a Rock/Hip Hop band from South Auckland and have been acclaimed for their mix of moody theatrical sounds combined with powerful anthems. Vallkyrie’s eclectic mix of music is inspired from bands such as Imagine Dragons, Rihanna, Enigma, The Prodigy, Missy Elliot and Guns & Roses. Put all this together with some cutting edge production and you have Vallkyrie. Witness their full set with all original music from their debut EP “Vallkyrie” (EP Releasing October 27th) and more.

+ Guest artist ELLY ~ Singer, songwriter, dancer, choreographer – Elly has been in the game for a while after graduating into the top seven from Sydney’s leading international performing arts collage Brent Street, Elly moved to Atlanta, USA and after joining Culture Shock Dance troupe was able to establish relationships within the music/dance industry which led to her performing, working and touring throughout the States with various artists including Keri Hilson, Lloyd, Mase, Queen Latifah, Trillville, Outkast & Bow Wow as well as working for Evander Holyfields Record label ‘Real Deal Records’.
Elly has an established business and is the Director of MDS (Moorhouse Dance Studio) and & Swarm Creative Collaboration with studios set up in Christchurch and Brisbane.
Through our partnership with MDS we have a dance crew, the Mai Squad, that support Mai events. The Mai Squad perform at events like the Rams Basketball games, the New Zealand Fighting Championships a couple weeks ago and some big community events like I Love New Brighton.
Elly is one of the most hard working entertainers in the game and has the ability to bring out the best in other artists while continuing to push herself as a artist and have a good time along the way.
